Priority Conservation Habitat for Shorebirds ...

This layer identifies priority areas for the conservation of shorebirds in California. It was created to assist with conservation planning in California, especially with regards to the management of wintering and migratory passage of shorebirds. Identified priority areas total ~2 million hectares and together should be able to support 75% of the current population of migratory and wintering shorebirds in California.
