Waterbird Census Summary 1999

This was the third full year of intensive surveys of most of the wetland areas on the Refuge. No new areas were added to the census in 1999. The inventory now covers 53 units encompassing approximately 575 acres, plus segments of the Patuxent and Little Patuxent Rivers.
