Where avian data and collaboration meet

Our mission is to improve the conservation of birds and their habitats in the southwest United States and northern Mexico through partnerships that make scientific data and analyses accessible to habitat managers, conservation practitioners, scientists, and the public.

The Borderlands Avian Data Center (BADC) is a regional node of the Avian Knowledge Network. It supports a binational partnership for the strategic conservation of birds and their habitats in the southwest United States and northern Mexico. Partners work collaboratively to share and access data and tools at multiple scales that support bird and habitat conservation.
