Borderlands Avian Data Center

The Borderlands Avian Data Center is a collaborative effort led by the Sonoran Joint Venture, Arizona Game and Fish Department, Pronatura Noroeste, A.C., and Point Blue Conservation Science with funding support from the Bureau of Land Management. Other key partners in its development include Oaks and Prairies Joint Venture and Great Basin Bird Observatory.

Our Team

The Sonoran Joint Venture and Point Blue Conservation Science currently coordinate the BADC Steering Committee. The Steering Committee includes representatives from federal and state agencies, and national and regional non-profit conservation organizations. It provides overall guidance and direction to the node partnership. Each member represents his or her organization’s interests in achieving BADC’s mission; provides input and actively engages in BADC development; facilitates active engagement from their organization and partners; and disseminates information and tools produced by BADC.
