EADC tools are separated into Southeast and Northeast regions to help speed up data transfer rates over the Internet and allow partnerships in each subregion to customize the pages and tools.

  • Southeast region includes: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia

  • Northeast region includes: Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and West Virginia

The EADC Histogram Tools are similar to those you would find in a printed field guide. They show the temporal distribution of a given species or set of species over the course of a year. You can look at distributions of birds using various data collections, choosing to filter by species, state or county.

The EADC map tools provide a way to visualize, query, and investigate data at surveyed locations. Currently, the map tools include eBird and Breeding Bird Survey data. Work is currently underway to include USGS Point Count Database and Secretive Marshbird Database data as well as other regional datasets in these tools.
