The MWADC goal is to improve conservation of birds and their habitats through the use of sound monitoring data, the best available science, and open, collaborative partnerships. We accomplish this by:

Fostering dialog among scientists, managers, and other stakeholders about the purpose and use of bird monitoring projects and data through the Midwest Coordinated Bird Monitoring Partnership.

Establishing and maintaining a central location and data management solution for standardizing protocols, data entry tools, data archiving, and data access.

Improving the quantity, quality, and availability of data for scientific research;

Advancing new analysis and visualization techniques to understand bird population dynamics; and

Providing interactive tools to inform decisions for managers.
